Bastard Jazz is proud to present a new 7” from London based multi-instrumentalist Robohands. His first physical release since 2023’s Palms LP- this 7” features “Thermae” and “The Atrium”, two tracks released digitally in the fall of 2024 now available on wax. The production on “Thermae” balances vintage inspirations with modern textures and offers a sparse and laid-back nod to contemporary artists such as Khruangbin and Glass Beams, enriched by an FX-laden woodwind part that recalls Robohands' previous LP Palms. Meanwhile, "The Atrium," draws from the saturated sounds of early 1970s albums like Joe Zawinul's 1971 self-titled record and films such as Marathon Man and Three Days of the Condor.
